I just listed on eBay this hand-signed and notatized certificate of authenticity with a pin attached to it that I personally salvaged from the wreck of the Civil War blockade runner Georgiana, which was owned by George Trenholm, who was the real Rhett Butler in “Gone With The Wind.” Unfortunately, the pictures don’t do it justice. But do look at them anyway. I am asking $99.00 as a Christmas special, and will consider reasonable offers. It is in brand new condition, as it is from a box of them in my attic. Both the Georgiana and her cargo were owned by George Alfred Trenholm. Rhett Butler “blockaded in” pins for the ladies “at the risk of his life — papers of pins and needles, buttons, spools of silk thread and hairpins.”.

Great news: As of October 1, 2011, the International Diving Institute will be training veterans under the "Post-9/11 GI-Bill." The Bill provides financial support for education & housing to individuals with at least 90 days of aggregate service on or after Sept. 11, 2001, or individuals discharged with a service-connected disability after 30 days.
