Wilder Museum of Warren County History The Wilder Museum of Warren County History seasonal hours of operation are Friday, and Saturday from 1 to 5 PM. Admission $5, students $1, members free.

The Wilder Museum houses 4,000 artifacts that will intrigue any visitor:
1963 Mercedes Benz, Native American artifacts spanning 8,000 years, one-handed clock invented in Warren by Colonel Windsor, World War II, furnishings from the Irvine-Newbold Estate including a two-person vacuum, turn-of-the-century transportation and fashion, and the DeFrees antique gun collection. Offering more than 20 exhibits, visitors may explore on their own with a self guided brochure.

Happy Johnny Appleseed Day!
Did you know that Johnny Appleseed's first orchard was planted in Warren County, Pennsylvania! Johnny Appleseed, aka John Chapman, bunked with Mathew Young, Youngsville's namesake, during the winter of 1797.
The ledger is the account book of a trading post and tavern on the Brokenstraw, near the Allegheny, re-opened for business three months after the close of the Indian War in August 1795. All reckonings are in pounds, shillings, and pence, with payments usually by barter.

Tonight is the Night! Wednesday, July 30-Irvine-Newbold Estate Tour!
Participants will meet at 6 PM at the Wilder Museum of Warren County History, 51 Erie Avenue in Irvine, PA, to begin the Irvine-Newbold Estate Tour. Everyone will drive from the Wilder Museum to the Estate property, just 5 minutes away. Proper footwear is a must!
The Museum will be open today from 1 to 6 PM. $5 per person.
