From humble beginnings to building Mammoth Mountain into one of the most iconic ski destinations in the world, Dave’s vision, passion, and relentless dedication helped shape the sport of skiing in America.

More than a ski area, Mammoth became a community, a proving ground for generations of athletes, and a place where countless skiers and snowboarders discovered their love for the mountains.

Dave’s impact on skiing extends far beyond the slopes. His spirit of innovation, adventure, and giving back continues to inspire the industry and everyone who has had the privilege of experiencing Mammoth.

Earlier this year, we were proud to welcome Todd Richards into the U.S. Ski & Snowboard Hall of Fame, honoring an incredible career and lasting impact on snowboarding.

Now, Todd is taking on an exciting new challenge as Director of Snowboarding for the Golden State X Games.

From competing at the highest level to coaching, broadcasting, mentoring the next generation, and helping shape the future of snowboarding, Todd has continued to make his mark on the sport.

For nearly five decades, Peter Graves has been one of the most recognizable voices in skiing. A celebrated sports journalist, broadcaster, and public address announcer, Graves has covered Olympic Games, World Championships, and World Cup events around the globe, bringing countless unforgettable moments to life for fans of winter sports. His passion for skiing extends beyond the microphone, having also served as a U.S. Cross-Country Ski Team coach, Harvard University’s Nordic ski coach, and a longtime advocate for the sport. Inducted into the U.S. Ski & Snowboard Hall of Fame in 2021 and honored as the FIS Ski Journalist of the Year in 2016, Peter Graves has helped tell the story of skiing with knowledge, enthusiasm, and a voice that has become synonymous with the sport itself.
