Art Celebration and Sale!!!

Come and join us for 1 weekend only and celebrate the art of Stan and Mary Ann Bowman at their fabulous studio on Pine Tree Road! We are looking to find good homes for all their wonderful art. Stan was a photographer and a pioneer of digital art since the late 1980s. He was a professor in the Art Department at Cornell from 1972 until retirement in 1997. Mary Ann's work traverses a range of fanciful exotic mixed media creatures and scenes. Her background in ceramics influences the range of works.

There will also be a wide range of art and craft related books available, as well as art supplies.

Everything is priced to sell. Please bring all your art loving friends. And tell them to bring a truck! You'll want so much stuff.

Note - there is limited parking, but there is a parking lot for the East Ithaca trail around the corner on Snyder Hill Road.

May Gallery Show! In their show, Black and White and … , painter Ileen Kaplan and photographer David Watkins explore the use of black and white and touches of color to create abstract, graphic, and representational pieces.

The show runs April 30–May 24. The opening reception is Friday, May 1, 5–8 p.m. The show can be viewed in the gallery and online here.(https://soagithaca.org/may-2026/)
