UNBOXING APRONS:
Here are some photos of Aprons I believe Marlie unboxed recently that had no note or anything to identify the person making the donation. The zip code on the package was State of New York but nothing else. Very interesting and quality Aprons.

UNBOXING APRONS:This is a photo of Linda Bushnell’s Apron from Lincoln, Nebraska we unboxed this morning.

UNBOXING APRONS:
Marlie from Nashville, Tennessee opens a package of four beautiful, high quality Aprons. Unfortunately no letter, note or return label included. Zip code from mailing label is from State of New York. We do get anonymous donations so hopefully this was intentional and not because note was left out of package. Thanks to Marlie and kind person from New York.

CLOSE UP of the London donated Apron made by a prisoner of war. Notice the embroidery stitches on the back side are just as nice as the front of the Apron. Wonder if the little tree motif has any special meaning in South Africa. Note: The close up image with the two horse figures is the back side.

UNBOXING APRONS:
Thanks to Frances from Oxford, Mississippi for opening this wonderful donation from London United Kingdom.
And many thanks to Caitlin Holloway for sending the Apron across the ocean, along with such an interesting Apron history.
This Apron was made by a South African prisoner of war during WWII for his young daughter at home in South Africa. His daughter grew out of the Apron and it was given to Caitlin’s mother then in turn to her sister and then her. After 84 years and three generations it retires at the Apron Museum to be shared with the world.
