Brick Street Gallery will be closing today @ 3:30 so Gary Willcock and I can attend this tonight in Detroit.

SEE YOU TOMORROW... Join Design Core on Thursday, November 10th at Woodward Throwbacks to celebrate the role of design in our community. We will be looking at the process of adaptive reuse in built environment.

The former Garrity Dodge Dealership at 11500 Joseph Campau is the home to Woodward Throwbacks. A Detroit-based manufacturer of furniture and goods made from landfill-bound materials. Through artistic reimagination, they recycle salvaged and reclaimed materials into new furniture and decor statement pieces. Their design process gives new life to various materials, including wood, metals, plastics, and more. Attendees will be able to tour the building and learn about the company's manufacturing processes.

Because of some down time in the gallery due to the covid variant, monkeypox, war in Ukraine, inflation, recession, political campaigns, climate change, January 6th, back to school, county fairs, summer vacations, 90+degrees, Brick Street Gallery is taking advantage and working on some new things to be announced.
Be sure to visit this Saturday, July 30th 11-6 and next week come and enjoy our building's First Friday event 6p-9p.
