'The Old Studio', a painting by the late Mildred Nungester Wolfe, dating from the late 1950s, is part of the permanent collection of the Mississippi Museum of Art. Our present studio sits in the same location as the old wooden building, which burned to the ground in 1962. The view in this painting shows Mildred's studio space to the left; Karl's studio was in the addition that rises up behind the roofline on the far right.
