MOPA is dedicated to the professional development as a group and for each individual member. Our artists gather together for workshops with accomplished artists, outdoor painting events, exclusive art shows, juried art shows, and much more. New Membership into the Mississippi Oil Painters Association is by invitation only. The Mississippi oil painters Association is a small group that has a membe
rship of painters who are striving to achieve at a highly skilled professional level. Members must be active, contribute to the betterment of the association as a whole, participate in both meetings and shows, and support the other members of the group. Our membership is limited to Mississippi residents only. If you are interested in becoming a MOPA member, please send us the following information at [email protected]

3. Three images of your work, that were done from your own reference from life and not not done in a workshop setting.
4. Website and/or social media address with your work
If a group of three current members chooses to sponsor you, your work will be submitted to an anonymous out of state juror to be juried into the group. The new member process begins in November of each year and notification of acceptance will be received in January. Membership is limited, so please submit again the following year if the places are full and you are not accepted into the group. Board Members 2023-2024:
