Greetings everyone, due to a winter storm passing thru Amador County today our Model Railroad Museum will be closed all day today 4-12-26. We will be open both days Saturday and Sunday again next weekend 4-18/19-26 we look forward to seeing you all soon.

Our Museum is hosting our first Model train show/swap meet event at our museum, this is our flyer the event will be March 21st and 22nd 2026, the same weekend as Dandelion Day's event here in Jackson, CA. We hope to see you there.

New Years Eve Party at the Museum Tomorrow 12 noon to 12 Midnight. we will have Pizza, soda's, and cider. this event is for members and the public for all who wish to learn how to run trains on our layout we will be doing a Free-Mo op session for all who would like to run on our layout, This is the only time out of the year we allow public to run trains on our layout. If you have a DCC equipped locomotive and would like to run please bring it and any rolling stock you might have.

People have been asking so here you go the museum new boxcar kits, these are Athearn Blue box 40 foot steel boxcars, the kit includes the museum stickers that you can apply yourself I did this one myself. the cars are now for sale at the museum for $20.00 each. we will not ship these out as they are an item to buy when visiting our museum. We also have our museum hats for sale as well at $20.00 each as well. we hope to see you at the museum soon. Our open hours are Saturday's and Sunday's 10:00 AM to 5:00 PM. It's Halloween, come by the museum we have CANDY, CANDY, and lots of CANDY. also a photo op for selfies, the Hogwarts express is running, and lots more our store is open as well were selling our museum hats, and our museum Boxcars. and lots of cool trains. We will be Open today for Halloween, from 3:00 PM to 10:00 PM we hope to see you there.

Greetings everyone our new open hours to the museum are now every Saturday and Sunday, 10:00 AM to 3:00 PM. we charge 5 dollars per adult and age 17 and under are free. Our museum store is open as well and we have lots of stuff for sale. ask us about our hats we have them for sale, and our new museum HO scale Box cars are for sale as well. we hope to see you all at our museum.
