I always found art to be a natural talent for as long as I can remember. I started drawing pencil portraits in my 20s and only completed a handful of them. I didn't start painting seriously until about 10 years ago. The first time I displayed paintings for sale at a craft fair, I sold 20 paintings in 30 minutes. It was the first time I realized that I could do this more seriously. My goal is to cr

eate a visual that will help you to see yourself or imagine yourself in a different setting. I hope that my art will help you to escape to another realm. I want my paintings to have a life outside of me and to bring joy to others in the world. I hope you will give them a home to become part of your world. Eight Palm Trees at Sunset was painted from a photo that shows a beautiful grouping of palm trees with a gorgeous array of colors setting in the distance. The sun has a nice glow against the trees and underbrush and the trees are almost black but not quite black against the Setting Sun. This painting should make you feel like you've just decided to go for a nice Sunset stroll across the beach and you're just arriving to get there at the right time to see a colorful sunset.
