Our main goal and original mission is collecting and promoting the history of Durkeeville, an historically African American neighborhood in Jacksonville,
Florida and serving as a cultural literacy and resource center for all members of all the communities in Jacksonville. The center includes artifacts, research books and video history of the Durkeeville neighborhood.
