Wright Air Museum is located at 300 North Main Street in Jamestown, New York and at the Jamestown/Chautauqua County Airport overlooking beautiful Chautauqua Lake where we hangar our aircraft. By Exploring the "Third Dimension" our mission is to "Motivate Youth Through Aviation and Aerospace" and create an awareness of air and space in the schools and community. In cooperation with Jamestown Commun
ity College, the Museum offers Student Exploratory Aircraft Mechanics(SEAM) FAA On-The-Job Training. In cooperation with Time Warner Cables "Connect a Million Minds Program" we coordinate the FLY to LEARN "STEM" Program powered by X-Plane virtual flight software for Chautauqua County Schools and provide virtual flight in our simulators. A planetarium and Mars Yard with web-controlled rover are available for the general public, school groups, and other groups. Annual scholarships are awarded to National Space Camp, Flight Training, and Jamestown Community College. Static displays of a Mini 500 Helicopter, 1974 Navion, 1956 Tri-Pacer, Great Lakes Biplane Trainer in rebuild, and exhibits of local interest in Aviation.
