Q: Where are you located? Our starter space is not open. A: Yes!

We are a 501 (c)(3) led by a group of dedicated staff and volunteers working diligently to build a children’s museum in downtown Janesville! A: We have a starter space at Olde Towne Mall in downtown Janesville and are exploring options for a permanent location.

Q: When will you be open? A: We are an all-volunteer operation that is working diligently to secure a permanent location. Rather, our volunteers host pop-up events throughout Rock County. Follow us on Facebook/Instagram or check out our website (www.kidsatplayrc.com) to see where we'll be next!

Q: Can I make a donation? The CMRC is a 501 (c)(3) non-profit so donations are tax deductible. Please message us if you would like to make a donation.

An update about in-person membership purchases!

We've been spending a lot more time at the Bysted Family WonderVault lately! As we've transitioned our office from the Olde Towne Mall to the museum, our in-person membership purchase process has changed, too.

Previously, you could stop by our Old Towne Mall office from 10 a.m. - 2 p.m. to purchase a membership. Now, just email us at [email protected] to coordinate a time to stop by for an in-person purchase!

Reminder: Access and First-Time Parent Memberships must be registered for in person. You can purchase Family, Grandparent, and Military memberships on our website!

We just completed 4 days of part-time staff training!
This amazing group worked so hard to get to know the museum, build new skills, and participate in fun activities. They got to unleash their creative sides using Chomp Saws, as well as practice thinking on their feet through improv with Sarah and Marty from Buddyville Arts and Learning Center!

We're so excited for this group to be your playologists!

But... soy what?! These little guys have some BIG facts to share! From the foods we eat to the products we use every day, soybeans are more versatile than you might think.

Soybeans play a big role in our Precision Agriculture exhibit, and we can't wait for you to learn all the fascinating facts we have to share!
