A well-known name in the Harrison art community, Judy Chatterton brings a fearless use of color to every canvas. Her small to medium acrylics and watercolors captures the character of birds, animals, and seasonal blooms with striking intensity - each brush stroke alive with Ozark energy.
From lively Cardinals and Blue Jays to luminous florals and whimsical farmyard scenes, Judy's work celebrates the natural world in a way that feels joyful and immediate.
She also creates hand-painted watercolor cards, turning everyday correspondence into tiny works of art.
Nelms Gallery is delighted to announce its special reopening for two days only, coinciding with the upcoming Art Crawl.

Cousins by marriage and Friends by choice, Sharon Hubbard of Harrison, AR, and Sandy Hubbard of Marshall, AR, have spent over 20 years painting side-by-side, exploring creativity and sharing inspiration. Their journey recently took an exciting turn during a trip to Italy, where Sharon was captivated by a plaster sculpture that she couldn't bring home. Instead, she returned with an idea: recreate her own version using papier-mache.
Building on their past experience with the medium. Sharon and Sandy joined forces to form Art and Whimsy, blending their talents into creations that embody Joy, imagination, and playful artistry. Together, they bring to life pieces that celebrate both tradition and innovation, each work carrying the spark of collaboration and the magic of friendship.

Jessica Hendrickson - As I walked into Pam's house, I was in awe over all her paintings. Once I turned around, this amazing piece caught my eye. It really spoke to me and gave me chills, it's so alive with the sunbeams flowing down, it gave me peace and joy just to be in the presence of this beautiful painting..

Mrs. Lisa asked us to collect letters for Santa yesterday during a Holly Jolly Christmas in Jasper and we glady did. It took all night (I just got my boots off) but they are delivered! 🎅🎄
