Drop in Knit classes with Clea are structured so you can learn at your own pace. She has developed a good base of beginner projects that will use one 4 oz (100g) skein of yarn of your choice. Bring your own yarn and needles or purchase at Young’s for a one time 15% discount. We also have loaner knitting needles. $20 buys a punch card for 4 classes.

Clea Stagnitti will be giving knitting classes in March at Young’s Studio and Gallery. These truly are classes for beginners, She will show you how to cast on and knit….that’s it! She has curated and created simple scarf and hat patterns for these basic skills. We will help you customize your project. Plenty of help on hand so if you have been wanting to learn to knit this is a great opportunity to learn from a knitter who is very experienced and has lots of teaching experience. Yarns at Young’s Studio and Gallery has a wide selection of quality yarns in natural and easy care fibers that are reasonably priced as well as knitting needles and notions. Use of yarns and notions from Young’s is not mandatory but encouraged. $20 for all 4 classes.

”Healing a Community” on exhibit with 8 other place settings at the Reimagined Judy Chicago Dinner Party show at St.Lawrence County Arts (SLC Arts) in Potsdam NY Until March 21st. The work represents Chief Beverly Cook of the St Regis Mohawk Tribal Council. The table runner was created by Amy Pennington Lee. The show will be traveling to three other venues this year.
