🎨 New Intro to Art Classes at Capital Arts are LIVE and open for registration NOW! May classes start TOMORROW & June classes start, Tuesday, June 2! Use this link to register! https://www.capitalarts.org/classes

Perfect for young artists ready to explore creativity, build confidence, and learn foundational art skills in a fun, hands-on environment. Students will experiment with line, color, shape, texture, and more while working with a variety of materials and techniques.

📅 4-Week Classes
🗓 All classes held on Tuesdays

🎨 Ages 7–12: 10:30–11:30 AM
🎨 Ages 13+: Noon–1:30 PM
🎨 Evening Class (Ages 7–17): 6:00–7:30 PM

Reception Information: Thursday, April 30 5pm - 6pm
Awards Announced at 5:30pm | Awards for Each Division

Beginner - $100 1st Place | $75 2nd Place | $50 3rd Place
Advanced - $200 1st Place | $150 2nd Place | $100 3rd Place

High School Sketch Day is an annual event that has been around since 1948! Each year, students of high school age from all over are invited to skip school and hit the streets of Jefferson City to spend the day sketching scenes from the city, drawing attention to architecture and the great art education in our community.
