Thanks to our tireless Museum Board president, Weldon Nash. After being in the Pilgrimage parade he sold tickets to our “horseless carriage”. During the year he organizes our Civil War symposium and is very involved with keeping our model train up and running. Thanks for loving Jefferson Weldon

A Civil War reenactor from El Dorado, AR visited the Jefferson Historical Society Museum in Jefferson, TX. He is part of the Battle for Jefferson Civil War Re-enactment this weekend. Come view the parade on Saturday at 10 am from the steps of the museum and see the museum and model Railroad following the parade. Open 9:30-4:30 daily!

Pilgrimage weekend. They enjoyed the elevator vs the historic stairs,
which was nice they said. Come ride our elevator or walk the stairs to learn about Jefferson's past. The museum is open daily from 9:30- 4:30.

These ladies are related to Riverport Captain, William Perry. He is credited with building the Excelsior House Hotel which is next door to the Jefferson Historical Society Museum in Jefferson, TX. They plan to visit Oakwood Cemetery to view his gravesite. The story of Jefferson lives on. Come visit 9:30-4:30 daily.

This small child was the official tour guide for his family tour. Before they had paid for the tour he led them upstairs to the 2nd floor. They were all smiles as they left out the back door of the museum to go tour the model train in the depot building.
