It's been a while since I've posted a pic of something I've turned. The construction of our vacation home has kept me out of the shop. However, at the Mid-Maryland Woodturners Club meeting in April, I was inspired by a bowl Keith Frampton turned and embellished, and brought to the meeting. I asked Keith if he would mind if I gave one a try, and he graciously said go for it. My bowl measures 16" x 5" and is made of cherry from a bowl I roughed back in 2017. A friend suggested I place some extra rivets in it as the space between the vertical straps was too
great for rivets only at the intersections. I do wish the rivet heads were a bit bigger, but it's a stunning cherry bowl, none the less! Even if I do say so myself! 😉
Although this bowl was previously for sale, my wife has now claimed it!
