Just one more reflection... as the museum wraps packing up "White Christmas: A 1950's Vintage Hoosier Holiday" presented by WesBanco and the Hazel and Walter Bales Foundation and prepares for our Spring season. You donated bags and boxes and suitcases full of winter supplies for homeless or inadequately housed veterans in our community. About a week before Christmas, we shared your bounty with Exit 0, the Jeffersonville Community Kitchen, and New Albany's Liberty Place. What a privilege we had to share this gigantic truck load of blessings! For all you did, and for our Operation Waverly sponsor, Foresters Financial, thank you!

We're still gathering "Operation Waverly" wintertime supplies for our homeless or inadequately housed veterans here in southern Indiana through Friday noon. The supplies will be delivered this Friday afternoon to those agencies especially serving them for distribution to the vets. Please consider taking a look at the list below and seeing how you might help. There are many different causes this time of year and so many human needs everywhere. But a lot of vets who have fallen on hard times really need our help and support right now. Please do what you can. The museum is at 725 Michigan Avenue in Jeffersonville and is open 10 to 5. While you're there, you can still see our "White Christmas" display, shop our gift shop, and see all of the other great stuff the museum has to offer. For all you do, thank you!

Wow! We're still celebrating all things "White Christmas" at the Clark County Indiana Museum Tuesday-Saturday of this week. If you haven't yet had an opportunity to view the movie artifacts and displays of a Hoosier 1950's Christmas, stop on by at 725 Michigan Avenue in Jeffersonville. We're wrapping up our "Operation Waverly" donations of winter supplies for our community's homeless or inadequately housed veterans mid week and will be delivering them with some local Boy Scouts late in the week. And, hurry---there are just a few remaining half-pound boxes of our commemorative "White Christmas" chocolates from the world-famous Schimpff's Confectionary, featuring the art of Miss America 2000 Heather French Henry and benefitting both the Clark County Indiana Museum and The Rosemary Clooney Museum. What fantastic sister gifts, girlfriend gifts, hostess gifts, or simply gifts for all of the "White Christmas" fans in your life! $15 a box. Stop in or call us at 502-345-6406 to reserve yours before they're all gone!
