Check out the first Jekyll Island Museum! 🫖
The museum opened December 11, 1954, in Indian Mound Cottage, and was founded and run by historian Tallu Fish. Displays included taxidermy, Rockefeller-era furniture, and even chamber pots lining the staircase. Tallu lived in the servants section of the cottage for some time.
