Stovewood Museum Buildings' - NWPS Investigations History Northern Wisconsin Paranormal Society's Investigations/Tours at the Mecikalski Stovewood Building, R John married and purchased land in Oneida County.

The Mecikalski Stovewood Building
The Mecikalski Stovewood General Store is named for John Mecikalski who emigrated from Prussia with his parents in the 1870's. Together, four Mecikalski brothers supplied valuable services during the heyday of the logging industry. This General Store was built in 1899 of stovewood. "Stovewood" is made from logs cut into sections, set in lime mortar, and stacke

d perpendicular to the length of the wall. It is an unusual construction method rarely seen outside of this area of the Upper Midwest. This is one of the largest stovewood buildings known to exist. It is a rare commercial building using this uniquely American method of architectural folk art. NO Alcohol allowed on premises during tours

For those who have inquired, the NWPS no longer does tours/ghost hunts at the Stovewood Museum, including this Halloween. We keep this page up as a testament to the time we have spent there in the past. Any questions regarding the museum should be addressed to the museum itself. Thank you kindly. :-)

Here is a write up about an experience we had at the Stovewood Museum, which we originally posted about here after it happened. This page was originally created for tours. We don't do tours there anymore, but because we had success there & the permission to post about our experiences, we have collected a small little gallery of evidence & examples from our tenure there which is collected in this very like page, which is now dedicated to the history from those investigations.
Its nice to have something to post about here again. This little NWPS satellite like page actually has alot of documentation. We do plan on coming back to Jennings at some point in the future to investigate other places we were invited to. When we do, we may end up posting them here (if prudent), & perhaps even consiter dedicating this page to all of our investigations in the little boonieville twilight zone town of Jennings, a very cool historical place. What better way to honor the ghosts of history's past.
Hats off to Rick Eby, for garnering this excellent evidence. Hats off to the Stovewood for giving us the permission to share our findings with the public. Until next time, Best Wishes. :-)

Any investigator, despite the field, knows that validating suspicions depends on the evidence that can be collected. The more evidence one collects, the more believable

We havent posted here in a bit, so we thought we would reshare this interview since its original airing a year & a half ago. Here's the most comprehensive radio show analysis of the haunted happeings in Jennings, Wisconsin that one can find. The show is called Paraversal Universe, & the interview is primarily with 2 members of the NWPS, Rick & Susan Eby, as well as the hosts Kevin & Jennifer Malek, who are also members of the Northern Wisconsin Paranormal Society Ltd. They have all investigated different locations in Jennings Wis, & know the locations & the lore well, as is expressed in this interview. So if you have an interest in Jennings haunted history, here's the interview for you. Peace & Blessings. :-)

Join us as we discuss The Stovewood Museum Buildings & the haunted town of Jennings w/ Rick & Susan Eby from the Northern Wisconsin Paranormal Society. And Veronica Duvall owner of Wayne's World Bar.

Just to clairify some of the older flyers we put out earlier this year, the NWPS will NOT be doing a Halloween Stovewood Museum Investigation/Tour event this year (2016) as originally planned back in May. We thank the Stovewood Museum for being so wonderful & allowing us to hold investigation tours there earlier this year as well as last year. Any future investigation tours there will depend on the museum board members unanimous votes to go ahead with more investigations. If that happens & we are asked back, we will then schedule more events.
Otherwise we will keep this page up as a testament & history of all of our hard work, research, & investigating we have done at the Stovewood Museum Buildings in the past. We'd also like to thank all the people who showed up to the investigation tours we did as well. Peace & God bless. :-)

Here are some pictures from June's Stovewood Museum NWPS Investigation/Tour which was held last Saturday the 18th 2016. A.P.T. from the Lake Winnebago/Oshkosh area came up for this event. We've known these guys for years & it was good to have them come out & investigate with us.
One of the pictures shows the SLS Kinects Camera mapping out a small green stick figure which was behind the door. This figure could not be seen with the naked eye. It appeared to possibly be a child judging from the size. This is the second visit where we were able to pick up something anomalously interesting on the SLS.
Our team meets tomorrow at our weekly meeting to share possible evidence collected from all the investigators, so there may be more evidence forthcoming. Until then, here are random pics of the evening. We'd like to thank everyone who came out on Saturday for the event. We had a wonderful time.

The NWPS went to the Stovewood Museum Buildings & The St. Mary's Catholic Cemetery in Jennings Wisconsin this last Saturday to prepare for the next investigation/tour & to test some new equipment out before the first years investigation tour set for Saturday, June 18th at 8pm until midnight.
During the process we garnered some new evidence as one of our Kinects (SLS) cameras as it mapped out someone in one of the bedrooms which had nobody in it. It appeared to possibly be knitting. After a few minutes the figure vanished.
Then later another figure appeared in a different spot in the same room. At one point there appeared to be visual interaction between the figure in question & one of our investigators. It's just another peice of evidence which can be added to the collection of scientific documentation.
Here are some pictures from yesterday, including some new equipment & the immediate area. Hopefully we'll see you out there on one of these Saturdays! :-)
