Today we want to say thank you to Miss Lyn for the years she poured into Gold King Mine. From welcoming visitors with a smile to sharing stories, laughter, and kindness, she became part of what made this place feel so special.

We are incredibly grateful for the time, dedication, and heart she gave over the years. While we’re sad to see this chapter come to an end, we’re excited to see what the Lord has in store for her next.

Thank you, Miss Lyn, for being such an important part of the Gold King Mine family. You’ll always have a place here, and you’ll be deeply missed by all of us who had the privilege of working alongside you.🤍

The Gibson Gyratory mill is one of two in the world that we know of . The other is in California, much larger but same exact design.
This is a mill that uses the same idea as a mortar and pestle. Designed in the late 1800’s, it was used to prospect various sites by miners looking to produce precious metals. We have brought this one back to life using a 1917 electric motor along with a water circulating system to move the sluice material. It’s great to see old history come back to life.
Come see us at the Gold King Mine and we might be able to show you a demonstration 👍👍🤠
