Knob Creek Historical Museum . The Knob Creek Museum is situated in north Johnson City on several acres of land owned by the Sherfey family since 1885.

It is a privately owned collection of family and community antiques. The main Museum, built in 1986, houses artifacts of the Sherfey and Krouse families. Included are beautiful hand made furniture, fancy quilds and coverlets, woven linen bed spreads, tablecloths. Also displayed are of Civil War, WWI, Korean War, and David Holley's Gulf War collections.
