Looking for an opportunity to deepen your plein air painting skills? Join renowned, award-winning artist Steven Hill for two full days of instruction, demonstration, and painting in the beautiful Wallowa Valley.
This 16-hour workshop offers plenty of time to learn directly from Steven, watch live, narrated demonstrations, receive individual feedback at your easel, and put new techniques into practice.
Steven’s teaching is practical and approachable. He’ll help you simplify the landscape, make confident painting decisions, and capture the light, atmosphere, and essence of a scene.
Day One: Work at the Josephy Center using reference photos from the Wallowa Valley.
Day Two: Take your new techniques outdoors and paint from life at beautiful Wallowa Lake.
Whether you’re new to plein air painting or an experienced artist looking to refine your skills, this is a wonderful opportunity to learn from an accomplished artist while immersing yourself in the landscape that inspires so many painters.
