Garden Finds!

Did you know the gardens at the Conrad Mansion still hold secrets?

One of the most exciting things about the Conrad Mansion is that history is still waiting to be discovered.

Our most recent find is a small toy rake that we believe was once part of a red toy gardening set. These artifacts are found by mansion staff preparing garden beds or completing maintenance projects,

Previous discoveries have included a toy cap gun and a toy car. Many of these artifacts are heavily rusted when they are found and require careful cleaning and restoration.

Each discovery reminds us that history is still all around us, tucked away in secret corners and garden beds.

Today marks the anniversary of the publication of Dracula by Bram Stoker. We’ve decided to celebrate the birthday of our very own Mansion Cat, Dracula!

This year, Drac turns 17 years old. He’ll be able to vote next year!

If you stop by Conrad Mansion Museum today, you’ll receive a free tiny Dracula. The Mansion covers all of Drac’s regular veterinary care, along with his special dietary needs.

The Conrad Mansion in seeking a seasonal Garden Laborer. The position will begin June 1, and continue until June 19. The hours are Monday through Friday, 8am to 4pm.

This is a fun opportunity for someone who is interested in gardening. No experience is required, but willingness to learn is essential.

Springtime is a favorite time of year for Montana residents, and it is no different for the Conrad Mansion.

The world feels like it's waking up, and breaking out into new color. The skies are blue, the grass is green, and the Daffodils are thriving.

If you have the chance to stroll through the Conrad Mansion gardens, do take it. The are different every year, and are open to the public year round.

Hello Flathead Valley!

The Conrad Mansion is officially open for the Summer Season. We are open seven days a week, from 10am to 6pm.

It is our hope that staying open until 6pm will make it possible for more people to visit the Mansion through the week. If you have the time, stop by!

This Mother's Day Weekend, come celebrate with us at The Conrad Mansion! We are hosting a Mother's Day Tea & Tour Saturday May 9th, and Sunday, May 10th ath 11am and 3pm.

Lettie was a pillar of the Kalispell community. A talented musician, she taught both French and piano right from the Mansion. During the 1918 pandemic and WWI, she served as a chairwoman for the Red Cross, offering care and leadership in a time of crisis.

Lettie loved hosting, and wanted to connect with the community that she came to call home. We want to celebrate Lettie, this Mother's Day weekend, with our Mother's Day Tea & Tour.
