Jeff Conners:
“Memories of warm city rains”
I paint mostly from memory and imagination without reference. Most of the paintings in this exhibit are from memories of walking through the warm rains in Kansas City, San Francisco and New York. I aim to create an environment where you can almost hear the sounds of the city, smell the unique aroma of wet pavement, and feel the warm splashes of water striking against your boots. I try to capture places that feel like you want to be there at that moment. The main intention of these paintings is to share the emotions I felt in these moments wherever I may have been. I’m grateful to MOD Gallery and the opportunity to share my work with you!.”
