Transform KC

Transform KC Transform Kansas City is a joint effort to develop a public discourse on the opportunities of rail transit.

Transform Kansas City is intended to inspire the public’s imagination about regional mobility by showcasing built and un-built work from around the world that links rail transit to pedestrian-friendly, multi-modal urban centers. The nascent streetcar in Kansas City, MO is an unprecedented opportunity to leverage a return to urban rail mass transit and usher it into a more balanced, efficient trans

portation system of the future. Together with its partners, TransformKC will host an International Call for Ideas and develop a month long exhibition in Kansas City, Missouri’s Union Station, the heart of the City’s former rail past. While the submissions will live on for posterity on the Transform Kansas City website, the interactive, multi-media exhibition will be open for the entire month of October 2013.
