Even on a beautiful Fall afternoon, this past Saturday we had 50+ people come to experience and lean about local treasure and icon, Nathan Farb. It was an honor to screen, "Nathan Farb and The Cold War."

Nathan is open to the world and engages with everyone he comes into contact with. He is a true mench.

(A "mench" is a Yiddish word for a person of integrity, honor, and strength of character, who is kind, decent, and responsible. It is a term used to describe someone who is a good person, often characterized by humility, compassion, and a sense of duty towards others.)

The landmark exhibition "Photography in the USA," which brought Nathan Farb to Siberia for the first time in 1977, served as a powerful harbinger of the…
