Kelleys Island History Museum This is the home for Kelleys Island history. We have a museum, gift shop and the historic Old Stone Church and a resale shop in the parsonage house.

We are the keepers of this Island's history. The Kelleys Island History Museum is run by the Kelleys Island Historical Association and its volunteers. KIHA was formed in 1980 working out of the historic German Reformed Church, before moving into its new building. KIHA's primary purpose is to preserve and share Kelleys Island's history. The museum is located on Division St. just North of downtown,

next to the big old stone church. In addition to the museum, there is also a great gift shop and a resale shop in the parsonage house.

I (Carmen) want to thank my 2 helpers, Octavia and Monica, for their time! We organized, cleaned, and conserved a bunch of papers that have to do with the Kelleys Island School from 1890-1920.

Peep those names! So many of our roads are named for the families that were present on the island at this time.

Our collections manager has a conservation project they need help on. Anyone interested? Has to do with 1800- 1930 KI documents and getting them stored right. They probably havent been looked at in 80 years. New donation!
