The Oak Orchard Lighthouse Museum is preparing for its 2026 season, and we are ready to schedule our Docent coverage for Friday evenings and Saturday and Sunday afternoons. Members of the OOLHM Board of Trustees have individually contributed to two gift baskets being auctioned off for local charities at this Sunday’s Holiday Event at the Black North Inn. We recognize that it "Takes a Village" to create community and are each pleased to return the favor of donating to a good cause in our area. Contributors to the lighthouse should note that we are not using donations made to our 501(c)(3) to re-donate to other causes, instead multiplying the effect of giving by donating our personal funds to this worthy effort by our friends at the BNI. Happy Holidays to all! Join us at the BNI this Sunday December 7th for a fun day capped off by a tree lighting at the lighthouse! Thank you to Trustee Anne Martin for coordinating our participation.

The members of the Board of Trustees of the Oak Orchard Lighthouse Museum would like to thank the Oak Orchard Neighborhood Association for its generous donation of $600. These funds will be used to help defray our 2026 costs of oeration included in our $5,500 planned budget for the year ahead.
