Connecticut Antique Machinery Association CAMA is a 100% volunteer run organization dedicated to the preservation of the machinery of our industrial past.

10 areas of focus: Industrial steam, large internal combustion engines, small internal combustion engines, agricultural/farm machinery and implements, Cream Hill Agricultural School, CT Museum of Mining and Mineral Science, narrow gauge railroad, construction equipment, sawmill, and blacksmith shop.

I thought I would share a great Christmas story in People Magazine about our very own Chief Steam Stationary Engineer Frank Vopasek and his wife.

Merry Christmas everybody!

Helen Vopasek loved being Mrs. Claus alongside her husband Frank as Santa — and she wasn't about to let bad knees stop her from spreading Christmas cheer. She had both knees replaced in the first half of 2025 so she could be back on her feet by the holiday season.
