The Museum of Western Art has been open since 1983 and is dedicated to the preservation of the American West through exhibitions of the very finest art by today's best known Western artists. The museum's goal is to authentically represent the life of the west in both its historic and contemporary context. The Museum of Western Art is located in the beautiful Texas Hill Country in Kerrville, an easy 65 mile drive via I-10 from San Antonio.
