I’ve been working on a small new puzzle series featuring three different wave photographs from Hoʻokipa Beach on Maui’s North Shore.

Breaking Blue • Shoreline Surge • Whitewater Thunder
Each one captures a different mood of the ocean, from deep blue rolling surf to heavy whitewater and shoreline movement. All three are made from my original Maui photography and are available in 520-piece and 1,014-piece puzzles.

I really like how they work together as a little collection — three moments from the same coastline, each with a completely different feel.

The puzzle mockup is made from AI for illustration purposes but the photograph is original and mine.

Not every Maui sunrise begins at sea level.

High above the clouds, the first light traces the ridges of Haleakalā while much of the island is still in darkness. Moments like this are why I keep heading out with my camera before dawn.
