SCCS Class of 1971 Reunion

The SCCS Class of 1971 is holding its 55th reunion on Saturday July 25th at Bright Leaf Vineyard (1250 Clearview Rd) from 2 to 5 PM. Classmates can RSVP on the web at: http://bit.ly/4f4iTPE

It’s been 20 years since the last reunion and organizers Ruth Bradley, Rick Corey, Tom Cummings, Kathy (Quigley) DeForest, Patty (Jones) Rossbach, and Norma (Dahl) Vannacore are hard at work trying to contact as many 1971 classmates as possible.

If anyone has contact info, they can reach the committee at this email address: [email protected]. And if you cannot attend, send us your contact information anyways, so we can generate a better list of our classmates and how to reach them.

We're asking for $20 per person to cover the costs of light snacks, veggie and fruit trays, cookies, water, as well as the cost of the venue. Wine and beer will be available for purchase.

Bright Leaf is a wonderful winery right off of Clearview Road. It's a great venue for a reunion, with plenty of parking, indoor/outdoor seating, and a spectacular view of Cayuga Lake. Plus it’s also the Route 90 yard sale weekend, so in addition to catching up with old classmates, there’s an opportunity for some prime treasure hunting.

A good number of our classmates have passed away — so instead of writing condolence notes or attending funerals of old friends, let’s meet in person and celebrate that we’re still here! Come join us — by car, boat, walker, or cane — we need to catch up and trade memories - whether accurate or not! Hope to see you soon—-
