After several months of life with a baby and now a toddler, I finally found some time to paint again.

I put this together in about an hour during nap time after being inspired by ‘s Reflections of Fusion Ablaze. This isn’t an attempt to recreate the original, more of a tribute to the artist whose work motivated me to pick up a brush again.

Will I keep adding layers as time permits? Probably. But for now, I’m happy with what it is: one focused hour of creating after a long break.

So thank you, Barton, for the inspiration.

One of my paintings is now on view at Musik Alley! If you’re local, stop by and see it hanging beside Swamp Thing, along with many other interesting pieces by various artists.

Thanks to for the opportunity to display my work. If you’d like to take it home, you can purchase it directly through my website or at the store.

I’ll also be helping arrange the gallery space there over the coming weeks and adding new pieces as time permits.
