Memorial Day is almost here, and we’ll be serving homemade soups and sandwiches after the parade, at the Kingston Legion Hall from 11:00 to 1:00. There will be three kinds of soup and two sandwiches to choose from, with a beverage and dessert included.
We are also doing a bake sale. If you love homemade goodies, you will want to stop by for a full meal and some treats to take home.
After lunch, we invite you to visit the museum. Some of our members have been very busy and have done an amazing job of displaying the history of Kingston area.

Kingston Historical Society Program-Saturday, October 4
We invite you to attend our program on Saturday, October 4 at 1:30 at 575 Main Street,
Kingston. We will be introducing our guest speaker Dan Miller from Dalton. Dan will speak
about the new Dalton workshop “Caring Hearts.” This workshop promotes self-worth, personal
achievement and makes a variety of projects to support various businesses in the area. Many
trades came together to build this shop and a board of directors maintain the business. We also
have our farm equipment out of storage and on display. This display can help us appreciate how
much farming has advanced over the decades. We look forward to seeing you and for an
afternoon of learning.

We'll be at the Fireman's Park during the Krazy "Carnival" Days-Music Festival on Friday evening and all day Saturday. Stop by for some homemade pies and ice cream! We'll also have ice cream treats for the kids or anyone who doesn't like pie!
