Wild Child Clayworks Dwain and Lisa Dixon, Gatlinburg artisans, makers of heirloom quality stoneware. https://www.etsy.com/shop/wildchildclayworks

Wild Child Clayworks was born in the midst of the Great Smoky Mountains. Dwain and Lisa Dixon's roots also extend to the banks of the Tennessee River in North Alabama and encompass many beautiful places we’ve seen in our travels all over the world. We love the wildness in all the landscapes we’ve taken in, but none feel as special to us as those in our own East Tennessee backyard.

Two years ago we missed JCC Fall Festival. Instead of celebrating my birthday in one of our favorite places to sell our work...we were meeting with an oncologist. One surgery and months of physical therapy and resting, we were back at Fall Fest 2025. I am grateful to be cancer free and no longer fearful of the future. Thankful for the support of my family(our 4 wild kiddos) and friends. Thankful to the best hubby who cared for me tirelessly and encouraged me to rest. My birthday tomorrow is a gift. And women, please get regular mammograms.
