MISSION STATEMENT

The Fountain City Art Center is dedicated to providing a variety of visual arts experiences and opportunities for the public in an inviting and educational environment. The Fountain City Art Center is a venue for area artists, art groups, performing artists and young students to exhibit their work, attend meetings, classes, workshops, lectures and demonstrations, and to find ins

piration from one another. Our policy is to charge no admission or fee for any of the art exhibits, performances, or demonstration and lecture series making these programs available to everyone regardless of handicap, race, religion or creed. We actively seek annual contributions and grants in order to make art class scholarships available to those in need, especially area youth.

Connie Pico's Beyond the Basics Watercolor class is designed for students who have completed a beginner watercolor workshop and are ready to continue developing their skills in a supportive, encouraging environment.

Through personalized instruction, Connie helps each student build confidence, refine technique, and discover their own artistic voice. Explore advanced washes, masking, detail work, texture techniques, and more while working at your own pace.
