La Center Historical Museum

The mission of the La Center Museum is to preserve and present historical information. The museum is La Center's Memory Keepers and is always FREE!

The mission of the La Center Museum Association will be to preserve and to present historical information, items and displays of art, technology, science and industry related to the history of the La Center area. We are run exclusively by volunteers. We are also open by appointment for groups of up to 30 individuals ... so plan your reunions with us in mind! We are a 501 C3 non-profit where donations are all tax deductible.

Does anyone remember Kinder Rock or seeing a small outbuilding or shed near the end of NW Gallatin Kinder Road — on the flat ground before the bluff drops off to the Lewis River? Carol Gola do you know of it?

“Sam” is jumping the gun a little, but when you’ve got a huge birthday bash coming up, he’s too excited to wait. So he’s inviting everyone down for a photo op with him to start the ‘250th Celebration’ off early!!
