Custom portraits in pastel, oils, colored pencil & graphite. Joni also has many originals for sale. In 2014 Joni was awarded the Steel Dust Award by AQHA.

Joni Beinborn of Joni's Ponies has been drawing horses for over 40 years. Specializing in custom portraits of your horse, dog or any other favorite beast in pastel, oil, colored pencil or graphite. Joni has recently been selected by Equine Affaire as their 2022 featured artist. Her artwork is being used to promote both the April event in Ohio and the November event in Massachusetts. strian Center in Ocala, FL has chosen Joni's portrait of the infamous A Sudden Impulse to promote their 2021 and 2022 futurities named for the well known stallion. This was for the best body of work submitted to the America's Horse in Art Show and Sale. Joni was named Signature Artist by AQHA in 2017. She is the only person ever to receive both the Steel Dust and Signature Artist titles. The artwork of Joni Beinborn has also graced the cover of three different issues of the AQHA magazine America's Horse and has been featured in Cowboys and Indians and the Equine Chronicle. Her art has also been on the cover of the WWHSA Handbook from 1996 through 2022 and the cover of the Minnesota Paint Horse Directory. Joni's Ponies was named the official artist for the American Paint Horse Association's Summer & Fall 2010 World Shows.

This 39x27 pastel portrait of “ Calamityy Jayne”, ridden by Arnaud Ferret, was her first time being shown as a three year old. This team scored a 221 and earned them 23K!
