Just wanted to put it out there that by the beginning of the year I will be taking on commission work again. Not sure as to how many or how often. I’ll just have to see how well I manage my time as it begins, while being fair to myself and consumer in a timely manner. If anyone is interested feel free to contact me via message. I work with ready to hang, no framing required upon arrival canvas’ and saw blades which are limited quantity or availability. Set price is 70 cents a square inch, plus S&H, or any additional cost due to me purchasing a blade to use or likewise. Thanks

So a little bit of story time today. My inspiration for painting comes from my great great uncle George Dehn who painted many pictures in his life, but only 2 survive to my knowledge and I own one. The picture on the left is a picture of a picture he painted in 1937 of his grandmother Carrigars house who raised him and his 3 brothers, as it was when he left for the army. My grandmother McRae grew up running around there and sitting on the stone wall with her brother and cousins as her grandmother worked the garden in the mid 40's. For her 85th birthday I've recreated this scene for her to have, as she best described it to me.
