Gallery R Downtown

Gallery R Downtown Come visit us for 2nd Saturday Artwalk each month! 6-9 pm Artists are encouraged to submit 5-10 samples of work electronically to our Gallery Director.

Artists are exhibited on a monthly basis, with openings to coincide with the exhibition schedule of Lafayette’s Second Saturday ArtWalk. Works reflecting a wide range of concerns, styles and media, such as painting, drawing, photography, sculpture, video, and multi-media installations, are all appropriate for our consideration. Gallery R is visited by hundreds of artists, students and casual enthu

siasts, making each opening a dynamic experience. Decisions are made on a rolling basis. We are currently scheduled several months in advance. We would ask that interested artists download a copy of our contract for information about set up, take down, and show expectations.

We're honored to showcase incredible artwork from talented Southside High students, alongside many other outstanding pieces from LPSS students.
