June Super Saturday is coming up soon! This month we will be using oil pastels in a limited color palette to create portraits inspired by Tom Ferguson's lithograph Snow Plow Operator from our permanent collection. Ferguson used only primary colors (red, yellow, and blue) to create an exaggerated caricature style portrait. Come in anytime from 1-4 Saturday, June 20th to participate! All ages are welcome and the project is completely FREE! We will be in the colorful building next to the museum on the corner of Lafayette Parkway and Morgan Street!

Now that it is summertime, we wanted to remind everyone about upcoming Super Saturday events! Every third Saturday of the month we provide a FREE art project for families within our community! Here is the schedule for the remainder of the year, there are no Super Saturdays in July and December.

Don't forget that the annual Visual Artist's Alliance of LaGrange Exhibition opens Saturday, June 6th from 6-8pm and will remain open during regular museum hours until August 15th! Artwork will be available for purchase. This is an exhibition you do NOT want to miss!
