At 6 pm on Monday, April 27th, 2026, at the Little Temecula History Center (the red barn on the corner of Temecula and Redhawk Parkways, just west of Kohl's) Brad Munoa and Executive Producer Nico Magee, both members of the Pechanga Band of Indians, will present to the Temecula community an inside look at their new ten-part documentary film series "People of the West" at the Little Temecula History Museum, the red barn next to Kohls in south Temecula. They will talk about the creation of the series, share select moments from the project, and discuss the history that inspired it.
People of the West is a ten-part documentary series that tells the history of California through Native voices, from the first people of this land to the present day. Created by Pechanga Tribal Member Bradley Munoa and developed in collaboration with Native historians, cultural leaders, and educators across the state, the series offers a perspective on California history that many have never been taught.
This is a unique opportunity to engage with the story behind the series before its broader release, and to be part of a growing community conversation about the history of the Temecula Valley and California as a whole.
