Founded in 1981, the Lake Jackson Historical Association (LJHA) is a non-profit organization operating the Lake Jackson Historical Museum, Alden B. Our mission is to provide education relative to the history and culture of Lake Jackson, Texas.

Who's ready to travel through time and learn about trains?

All tiny historians are invited to join us at the Lake Jackson Historical Museum for a train-themed story time and songs provided by Lake Jackson Library as well as games and crafts! Check out the model trains on display for our temporary exhibit, "Tracks Through Time" too! Adults are sure to love the display as well.

Are you looking for something fun for your kiddos to do this summer? Register them for LJHA's newest summer camp, Journey Through Time! Each day we will have crafts, games, and activities that highlight a different era of Lake Jackson's past!

Here are just a few things you can expect your child to do during camp: hear from guest speaker Larry Pearl about Cherokee culture, craft pinch pots out of clay, make silly putty (invented during World War II), design a unique city, and make fun memories!
