LG Art Gallery Welcome to LG Art Gallery located in Heathrow, Florida. Our gallery showcases original Modern and Contemporary Art from the 1950s through 1990s.

LG Art Gallery Founder and President Louis Geys has been an avid art collector of modern and contemporary art for over 30 years. His gallery showcases over 200 original pieces from over 100 artists from the 1950s to 1980s including artwork created by his daughter Caroline Geys. The artwork is mainly Optical Illusion Art (Op Art), Abstract Art, Realism, Impressionism, and Pop Art. In the 1980s, Lou

is owned a real estate development company and art gallery of 19th Century paintings in his native country Belgium. For over 30 years, Louis has successfully developed and invested in real estate in Florida including the art gallery building in Lake Mary. Art gallery showings by appointment only.

Over the Countryside by Satsuko Hamilton on display now at LG | Satsuko Hamilton was born in Nagoya, Japan, where she studied traditional flower arranging and the Tea Ceremony. As a young girl growing up in Japan, Satsuko was trained to paint designs on pottery in her parents' ceramic factory. Her ability for composition and technical application led her to begin painting on paper and canvas. Her explorations in the field of art continued when she married George Hamilton, a well known artist and teacher who brought her to the U.S.

Moment in Rome by Jack Laycox on display now at LG | Jack Laycox grew up in Northern California and after receiving a Bachelor of Arts degree, took a job producing technical illustrations for the Atomic Energy Commission. During the 1950s and 1960s, he did commercial illustrations for the Donald Art Company. Throughout his career, Laycox has produced fine art watercolor paintings and lectured on art. He has exhibited in American Watercolor Society annuals and been active in regional Northern California art clubs and shows.
