Sure, art is interesting, but does it help our business community thrive?

Boy howdy, does it ever. In addition to raising everyone's quality of life (and property values), public art generates huge gains for local businesses.

How, you ask? Tell me more, you say? Prove it, says you?

Learn all about the ways art elevates local business by listening to the latest edition of the Lake Oswego Chamber of Commerce Podcast!

Produced right here in Lake Oswego by and featuring Natalie Wood of and as well as our own Eric Evans, communications & development manager at ACLO, this epiode examines and explains how public art boosts visitation, foot traffic, and spending by locals and visitors alike. Plus, it's a lively listen!

Available on all reasonable streaming platforms, it's a must-hear for LO businesses and art lovers alike: https://business-lo.simplecast.com/episodes/how-a-thriving-arts-community-lifts-every-business

Hey Y’all! My name's Emma, I’m interning at the Arts Council for the summer of 2026, so prepare to be hearing a lot from me over the next 2 months!
I’m a senior at Willamette University studying Studio Art, Biology, and Business. I love creating paintings using acrylics and mixed media, and sometimes dabble in sculpture!
