Did you know that the Boeing PT-17 Stearman and the Fairchild PT-19 were two of the most predominant WWII primary training aircraft?

We are privileged to have our PT-19. She spent the end of her war years at Avenger Field in Sweetwater, Texas with the WASPs.

Dream Flights has a fleet of Stearmans traveling the country giving free rides to our war veterans.

RARE JUNE FRONT! 🙌 Heads up Florida, most will be a little cooler and less humid Thursday into Friday this week. Can't even rule out a few upper 50s in Northern Florida too! I would keep expectations low overall, just small temporary relief that we likely won't feel again until the Fall. Enjoy!

As the move into their new home at Avenger Field, the residents of Sweetwater, Texas are all abuzz about the new women pilots. Jackie Cochran arranges a meeting and social time with the townspeople in 1943 and invites locals to next graduation. It's the beginning of a healthy relationship between the WASP and the town. Pictured is Cochran meeting with some of her pilots.
