We are looking forward to our annual Dark Victorian Tales performances on October 16th and 17th! Come and join us for an evening of spooky historical entertainment.

For those who haven't been to Dark Tales in the past...

Dark Victorian Tales features a blend of spooky historical short stories, dark poetry, scary folk tales, magic tricks, and more.

Our Education and Programming staff member is a children's librarian who loves to entertain kids... but every October, for two nights, he undergoes an alarming transformation. The affable facade slides away to reveal the visage of a madman bearing stories from a bygone era--a madman who is all too happy to put a shiver up the spine of any adult brave enough to listen.

And then there are his "charming" associates--an herbalist potion-maker and a dark seamstress from Eaton, CO. Madness comes in threes, so they say!

So meet us at the museum on October 16th and 17th for some evening entertainment. We hope you won't sleep well afterward!

Tickets $20 ($15 museum members)

Today’s theme is worth celebrating and we are celebrating longtime Museum member Dona Mandell (1937-2022) by sharing this toolbox of her 1958 wedding.
