Week 2 back to work!! I am having a blast. It feels great to be back:) 🎨 🌅

2 Canal Oils are in the works. They each have a similar warm glow, but one has a soft haze filter.

After a very long break, I have started painting again. After 30 years of painting, and over a decade of owning a gallery, a few years ago I stepped away from my easel. It has been great diving into other adventures, spending a lot of time and energy focused on my kids and sports. In the back of my mind, I knew there would be a return and I took all the pressure off myself to paint again. 🎨 This week I finally felt like painting. It felt so good to be back mixing colors and listening to crime podcasts, loosing all track of time.

I have spent so many hours and miles on the canal path these past few years training on my bycycle. It was a perfect place to start painting, full of happy memories!

Keep an eye out, there will be many more paintings to come!
